schuh has announced the appointment of Stephanie Legg as Chief Marketing Officer and Justin Lodge as Chief Digital Officer with immediate effect.

The footwear retailer said it aims to excite, unite and enable self-expression via a curated range of schuh
own-label alongside the biggest brands, within “an inclusive and seamless shopping environment” that empowers diverse talent through purpose.

These new additions to the leadership team will be pivotal in schuh’s ambition to be “an unrivalled destination” for socially conscious students, Gen-Z and the next Generation Alpha, the company said.

“It is more important than ever that we make our customer touchpoints as seamless and inspiring as possible, which can be demanding in this ever-changing marketplace,” said Colin Temple, schuh President.

“I am delighted to have two new leaders bringing a wealth of experience that will continue to deliver growth for schuh.”

Ms Legg has 20 years of distributed commerce and multi-channel consumer marketing experience gained in-house and agency side across fashion, fin-tech, Retail, FMCG, Utilities and Entertainment. After spending 10 years at Arcadia leading the digital marketing and brand marketing teams, Ms Legg has more recently sat on the leadership teams at innovative digital platforms Laybuy, Threads
Styling and Collagerie. She will lead the Marketing, Partnerships and PR departments at schuh.

Justin Lodge is an omnichannel retail professional with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, global e-commerce operations and regional store networks. His previous roles include Chief Marketing Officer at Superdry, where he was responsible for the strategy and execution of digital channels, and International Director at boohoo.com, where he expanded the Boohoo Group brand into international markets. Mr Lodge’s remit at schuh includes Digital Marketing, CRM, Digital Trading and UX.
