The footwear industry will once again come together to participate in the Footwear and Allied Trades Team Golf Championship. The event will take place at Hollinwell Golf Club, Kirkby in Ashfield on 19 June 2024 and it will raise funds primarily for The Motor Neurone Disease Association.
This is the second golf charity event of this kind. Last Summer, 20 teams from all sectors of the shoe industry participated in the inaugural Footwear and Allied Trades Team Championship at Ganton Golf Club, Scarborough – raising £8,250 for Prostate Cancer and St Teresa’s Hospice.
The golfers were treated to a fine day’s weather with the course being in excellent condition. A close fought competition was won by the Woburnites, with Graham Paver having the best individual score.

Next year’s team championship – where Footwear Today will become a hole sponsor – takes place in June.
