The Pavers Foundation, company charity of footwear retailer, Pavers, has donated a field hospital to Ukraine. Already deployed and in use, the hospital is helping to save lives on the front line.

The hospital includes all required equipment, including three mobile hospital tents, surgery tables, lamps, two generators and stretchers. The military unit in Ukraine has thanked the Pavers Foundation for its ongoing support in a video posted online.

Stuart Paver, Joint Managing Director of Pavers, alongside Executive Assistant Steve Ovenden, have travelled to Ukraine several times over the past 18 months providing humanitarian aid and supplies. Raising over £325,000 to date, every penny donated to the Ukraine fundraiser is spent on life-saving supplies and essential items.

Mr Paver will return to Ukraine next month to deliver evacuation stretchers and much needed water purification tablets. More information about the mission and details on how to donate can be found here.

Mr Paver said: “Every penny donated to our Ukraine fundraiser is spent on medicines and lifesaving supplies at wholesale prices; no expenses, no overheads. We’re proud to be making a difference on the front line in Ukraine with the recent deployment of a field hospital, however more supplies are desperately which is why we’re continuing our fundraising efforts to raise money for evacuation stretchers and water purification tablets”.

The Pavers Foundation is proud to support local charities and causes close to the hearts of its colleagues throughout the UK, Ireland and beyond, through employee grants, the company’s charity of the year initiative, and donations made on behalf of the Paver family. The Foundation has donated over £1.7 million to date, including over £325,000 supporting humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
