Term Footwear has joined The Parently Group, offering trade customers the opportunity to expand their retail proposition with this range of durable school shoes that can be purchased alongside David Luke school uniform in one simple transaction.
Term Footwear was founded in 2016 by Sharon and Lincoln New, and has grown into a trusted brand known for its durable, comfortable, and stylish footwear designed with British children and the British weather in mind. Sharon and Lincoln will continue to work with the Parently Group to assist with the transition, sharing their specialist knowledge and expertise with the team.
Speaking about the acquisition, Kathryn Shuttleworth, CEO of The Parently Group, commented: “This move into school shoes comes at a time when the school uniform market is undergoing significant changes, driven by shifting ownership models and legislative uncertainties. In these times, diversification for wholesalers and retailers is essential. Expanding our offerings builds resilience and reduces risk as markets and products evolve.”
Term Footwear’s product range caters to different age groups and preferences, from primary school children to teenagers, with options such as single and double touch-fastening straps, lace-ups, and smart designs. Term shoes are made from real leather; sourced in New Zealand and South Africa as a by-product of open Cattle Farming while the Patent leathers are imported from Italy, ensuring durability and a premium finish.
Double dyed leather means that scratches and scuffs are easy to re-polish and will not show white under the surface, compared with cheaper products that are single dyed and show a light grey or even white streak when scuffed.
