Russell & Bromley are proud to partner with Shoe Aid to donate any unwanted shoes to people in need.
Russell & Bromley have donation points in all stores with children’s departments which is ten in total. The stores have already collected many shoes to be sent to Shoe Aid.
Through the recycling of any unwanted adults or childrens shoes of any size or brand, Shoe Aid and Russell & Bromley are actively helping to make a difference to the homeless and to adults and children living below the poverty line.
Two million shoes are thrown into landfill every week, on average one pair of shoes takes 100 years to biodegrade. Therefore, this has huge environmental implications. Rob Foster, Head of Retail for Russell & Bromley states: “Russell and Bromley are delighted to support the Shoe Aid Charity to reduce shoe poverty and footwear waste and its impact on the environment”.
