Detmold, 12th July 2019 – Jana shoes is adding over 65 article/colour options made of recycled PET bottles to its collection in the coming Spring/Summer season 2020.
“We have been focusing on sustainable issues such as vegetable-tanned lining leather for several
years now,“ says Michael Romberg, Managing Partner of Jana shoes. With the use of recycled PET, we are therefore consistently taking a further step in the right direction – various components such as lining materials, insoles, shoelaces or mesh material are made among others of recycled PET bottles!“
Each of the styles is individual and all components of each shoe have been checked to see if those can be replaced by recycled PET material. „The change of the material with respect to the sustainability aspect of course has no impact on the look and feel of the shoe,“ assures Romberg.
Under the claim One step into a better world Jana shoes will continue to expand its sustainability strategy in the long term. The new sustainable articles are available in price ranges from €49.95 to €69.95 and include all other Jana comfort features such as removable footbeds, pressure-elastic Jana Relax zones or soft, flexible soles.
