After more than twenty years collaborating in different programs and initiatives, IFEMA and Iberia have come together to promote Madrid as one of the main cities of fairs and congresses in the world, providing connectivity, a union that will be reinforced during 2020. The agreement has been signed by Eduardo López-Puertas, general director of IFEMA, and Luis Gallego, president of Iberia.
It is a strategic alliance for Iberia becomes partne r as AIRLINE Officer IFEMA , whose institutional grants crosscutting the whole activity IFEMA, aimed at adding value to fairs and events, as well as collective exhibitors and visitors participants, facilitating connectivity between destinations and with it, attending each of the scheduled appointments in its 2020 calendar.
Likewise, the agreement has been extended to other actions within the framework of the main IFEMA events. This is the case of FITUR, a fair in which Iberia has traditionally maintained a close relationship with IFEMA as one of the major air operators in the tourism sector. He is the chairman of the Organizing Committee of FITUR, a representation that he has held since the beginning of the International Tourism Fair of Madrid as the first airline in Spain and one of the most important in the world. Likewise, it sponsors 50% of air transfers to professionals and journalists attending the International Tourism Fair of Madrid.
Another of the great focuses of Iberia’s sponsorship is in the fashion world. Since 2018, it has joined this sector, with its presence in the main Spanish design platform, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, through the company’s VIP Lounge, and with the activation of impact initiatives, as it has It was in the last edition the presentation of their new uniforms designed by Teresa Helbig, which have paraded in scoop in the biggest stage promoting Spanish fashion.
For its part, ARCOmadrid is another of IBERIA’s great sponsorship collaborations. His affinity with Contemporary Art, has led him to generate content of interest in the fair, in addition to promoting in this next edition the Dialogue Awards, aimed at helping an artistic project of the Fair, and aligning with the objectives of supporting the Art creation With this, the next edition of ARCOmadrid, which will be held from February 26 to March 1, organized by IFEMA, will have an important contribution from Iberia, whose area will be located in the connection nucleus of pavilions 7 and 9.
Two initiatives for two environments, fashion and art, in which Iberia has found an ideal scenario to promote one of its great projects “Talent on board”, with which it promotes Spanish talent in its different manifestations.
Finally and recently incorporated, the 1001 Weddings fair will feature Iberia as a sponsor in its next call, in a sector that generates a high volume of air activity, on the occasion of wedding trips.
