Hotter, Britain’s largest shoe manufacturer, has appointed Pablo as its creative brand
agency following a pitch. The business was established in 1959 and is based in Lancashire.
Pablo is tasked with the relaunch of Hotter and developing a long-term communications
platform. Hotter is a direct to consumer digital brand which delivers customised comfort and precision fit to customers across the globe. The company has additionally been the UK’s largest manufacturer of footwear for the last decade.

This is a transformational year for Hotter with CEO Ian Watson hand picking a new product team led by Chief Product Officer Claire Pearl, previously of Hobbs and the White Company, which is set to revitalise the style and comfort DNA of the brand. Pablo will work under direction of Chief Commercial Officer Victoria Betts, who has three years tenure at the brand, and who previously worked at MissGuided, Sofology and Shop Direct.

Ian said: “We’ve been working hard to refocus our business over the last 11 months and I’m excited about the team we have put together to drive this forward to the next stage. Pablo is the perfect fit for our business, we’re excited to work with a great team of proven
professionals, we’re expecting them to deliver fantastic results, comfortably!”
Gareth Mercer, Founding Partner at Pablo said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Hotter. The business and the brand are about to undergo huge transformation and it’s fantastic to be working with this driven team. In particular to have the chance to redefine and change perceptions around our target audience and what it means to be 50+ is something we can’t wait to get our teeth into.”
