Fox Williams has invited professionals to attends its annual Fashion Law seminar on 29 November which will be held in-person at its offices at 10 Finsbury Square, London.

The law firm will cover topics including; tenancy agreements, the future of fashion, intellectual property and the top five things happening in the market for fashion businesses.

Tom Morton, Real Estate Senior Associate, will be covering the future of fashion. He will speak about; practical problems for fashion tenants, actions landlords can take and why certain actions may not result in performance.

Commerce and Technology Associate, Hannah McCullagh, will discuss the future of fashion. She will cover topics including; sustainability legislation in the pipeline, what will be required of you and those who operate in your supply chain and the issue of greenwashing.

Intellectual Property Senior Associate, Scott Steinberg, will outline potential ways that fashion businesses can and should protect intellectual property – which he said is businesses “most valuable asset”.

Sarah Carlton, Corporate Senior Associate, will cover the top five things happening in the market for fashion businesses. She will speak about; why banks are reviewing private company board appointments, how future fund / CBILS could still be problematic if insolvency looms, the importance of cleaning up your skeletons before starting an M&A transaction and whether M&A transactions are taking longer to get over the line.

The seminar will be chaired by Steve Sidkin, Partner and Chair of Fashion Law Group at Fox Williams – after the presentations there will be an opportunity to ask questions and then to network over drinks and canapés.
