To help and give thanks to the incredible NHS staff, Dune London have donated 1000 pairs of Dune Easy shoes to Guy’s and Saint Thomas’ hospitals to make their feet more comfortable during and after their long shifts on the ward.
As soon as word started to spread about the pandemic and the impact it was having on the NHS, the team at Dune London started to think about how to give back and help the incredible teams working tirelessly for our healthcare service. Following a conversation with an NHS surgeon, who mentioned the lack of appropriate footwear for working in the hospitals, the team at Dune London decided to pull together a donation from the Dune Easy range. Not only are they easy to pull on and wipe clean, they also benefit from enhanced flexibility and luxury cushioning – the ideal combination for the staff working on the wards and in theatre.
And so, at the beginning of May, a lorry containing 1000 pairs of women’s and men’s Dune Easy shoes was gratefully received at Evelina London, Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals.
Daniel Rubin, Executive Chairman said:
“It is our absolute pleasure, and indeed our duty, to support our fabulous NHS during these challenging times. We hope that our small token of support will go some way to helping the dedicated teams working in these hospitals.”
