Clarks appoints Chief Executive Officer

Mike Shearwood will now lead Clarks’ next phase of development and growth as Chief Executive Officer.
Mike Shearwood was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Karen Millen and Aurora Fashions, owner of Oasis, Coast and Warehouse, where he was CEO between 2009 and 2015.
Mike is recognised for his leadership of successful international fashion brands and drove considerable ecommerce initiatives and repositioning of the brand at Karen Millen. He also brings extensive international experience, having led Aurora’s stores and concessions across 77 countries and the expansion of Karen Millen into markets across North America, Asia and Europe.
In his new role, Mike will be working with the board of directors and executive management team, to build on the extensive work that has already been conducted in recent months to build a strategy to ensure the business is well placed to grow meaningfully and sustainably.
