To underscore its commitment to quality, Pirmasens shoe manufacturer Caprice will showcase the largest leather book in the world at leading footwear industry trade fair GDS.
Weighing in at almost 8 kilos, the book contains pages made of genuine leather, each presenting a different form of material processing to make the diversity and material fascination of leather come alive. This book will be presented for the first time at the Caprice stand at GDS, after which it will make a tour of European capitals from Paris via London to Moscow.
The unique book project aims to reflect Caprice’s footwear creations: a real premium product with an attractive price/value ratio. With current consumer trends heading towards premium products at a fair price, more and more shoe retailers are looking for strong-selling brands with genuine, added value in an age where all signs are pointing towards change. Jürgen Cölsch, managing partner of Caprice, commented: “Tomorrow’s winners will be those who commit themselves to permanently ensuring maximum customer delight.”
