The current 2017/18 Autumn/Winter collections, season highlights and a wide range of inspirations will be presented at GDS – Global Destination for Shoes & Accessories, running from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 February 2017. The three well-structured areas (Highstreet, Studio and Pop Up); the representative collection portfolio; the GDS Trend Programme and an informative supporting programme will make it easy for visitors to leverage GDS as an impulse-generating and inspiring platform.

Brands and trends

Leading global brands will present their individual brand presence in the Highstreet area. Visitors can look forward to shoe trends – from Classic to Lifestyle, and from Young Fashion through to Performance or Comfort styles. Commenting on this, Kirstin Deutelmoser, director of GDS and tag it!, said: “Currently over a hundred brands have registered for GDS. With this comprehensive array we offer our visitors a representative, international line-up. Our compact and coherent structuring and our gds_studioshow_87-jpgtrend programme make work for buyers simple and efficient. I am delighted that GDS has once again been able to attract major companies like Ara Shoes, Josef Seibel Shoes, Lloyd Shoes, Mephisto, Rieker and Schuhunion, van Lier as well as the Wortmann Group with Tamaris, Marco Tozzi, Caprice, Jana and s.Oliver.

For retailers, GDS is an ideal place for information, networking and orders.” Once again presented in the Highstreet segment are big names, as well as the Bestseller Group. In the Comfort segment key brands will be showcasing their latest styles, and presented in a clearly structured and coherent form, the unique Kids’ segment in Hall 3 showcases a comprehensive and also international line-up of children’s collections.

The Pop Up area is once again well geared up – at home here are labels that define the street style of the trendy districts of the world. Meanwhile, presented in the exclusive Studio World are style-shaping brands with their high-quality collections in skilled, handcrafted perfection.
