Many retailers reported improving trading conditions in March 2014.
“The season is progressing really well with sales up on last year. Easter was very good for us with loads of visitors in and around The Lake District. Earth Spirit continue to do really well, but the big surprise this season is Softinos, part of Fly London. They are selling like hot cakes and customers are even coming back for a second pairs. Other brands which are performing well are Skechers especially when they are advertised on TV, Rieker ladies and the best men’s range is Bugatti. We need the good weather to return and May sales should be good.”
